The Player's Lounge is named after Jimmy Jerome, class of '74, who was tragically killed in a car accident in 1975.

This room is dedicated to the memory of Jimmy Jerome of Rose Hill, North Carolina, a 1974 graduate of the University of North Carolina, an All-Atlantic Coast Conference football player who was greatly admired and respected by his fellow students, teammates, faculty and coaching staff.
