Kenan Stadium has been the home of the Tar Heels since 1927. In 1997, the doors opened on the $50 million Kenan Football Center, widely considered to be the best football facility in the nation.

The Hall of Honor, located on the ground floor, is a multi-media history of Carolina football. Photographs, awards, trophies and artifacts detailing the rich and storied history of the sport in Chapel Hill are on display. The 18 Carolina players who have been honored by placing their names and numbers on display in the stadium are also featured in the Hall of Honor. Special plaques, flags and an audio-visual presentation on each player are highlighted.

The state-of-the-art, 78,000 square foot football center houses the Carolina coaches' offices, locker rooms, training room, weight room, player lounge and more.

The weight room at the Kenan Football Center is exclusively available to the football team and can be used year-round. It is equipped with state-of-the-art weightlifting and stretching machines.

On the second floor of the football center there are meeting rooms for each position on the team and the 100-seat Swofford Auditorium, where team meetings are held.

The Jerome Players' Lounge is complete with pool and ping-pong tables, wide-screen televisions and tables and couches for Tar Heel football players to relax or work on school work.

The head coach's suite is located on the fourth floor of the Kenan Football Center.

The spacious Carolina equipment room houses gear for all UNC football players.

The Tar Heels have both grass and turf fields on which to practice each week.

The recent completion of a new indoor facility on campus allows the Tar Heels to also practice indoors.
