Former North Carolina wide receiver Jesse Holley is one of 12 contestants on Michael Irvin's reality TV show, 4th and Long, which will make its debut Monday, May 18 on Spike TV. Irvin, the Hall of Fame wide receiver with the Dallas Cowboys, came up with the idea for a football reality show with the winner receiving an invitation to the Cowboys' NFL training camp this fall.

Holley lettered four seasons at North Carolina, never missing a game, and finished eighth in career receiving yards and career receptions. A native of Roselle, N.J., Holley was third on the team with 37 receptions for 466 yards in 2006 and had his best year in 2005 when he earned honorable-mention All-ACC after catching 47 passes for 670 yards.

Holley combined his skill on field with a magnetic personality off it, as TarHeelBlue.com's Adam Lucas described perfectly in this profile in 2006.

Approximately six months ago, producers for Irvin's show called sports information offices around the country looking for recently graduated players with a good personality and a good "story," who were still trying to reach the NFL. Holley was an easy choice and he quickly progressed through the tryout process.

Taping of 4th and Long will take place in the Cotton Bowl with 1-hour shows set to begin on May 18.

Good luck Jesse!
