2004 - Junior Season
Started the first seven games and 10 games overall • Finished third on the team with 21 catches for 354 yards • Tied for the team lead with three touchdown receptions • Had the best game of his career against Boston College in the Continental Tire Bowl, setting career-highs in receptions (seven) and receiving yards (116) • Caught a 51-yard touchdown pass from Darian Durant near the end of the first half in the bowl game • Caught a 20-yard pass in the win at Duke •Made three catches for 45 yards, including a 34-yarder at the Wake Forest 3-yard line • Carolina scored on that drive to take a 17-10 lead •Caught two passes for 38 yards at Utah • Had two catches for 28 yards, including a long of 19, in the 30-24 victory over NC State •Caught a 45-yard pass against Florida State, which set up a touchdown • Made one reception for 10 yards against Georgia Tech • Caught three passes for 23 yards at Virginia and scored on a 7-yard pass from Durant in the second quarter • Caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Durant in the 49-38 win over William & Mary.

2003 - Sophomore Season
Played in 11 games and started seven at wide receiver • Finished seventh on the team with 17 receptions for 146 yards and scored two touchdowns • Averaged 8.6 yards per catch • Caught at least one pass in all but three games • Had season-highs with three receptions against NC State, Arizona State and Georgia Tech • Had a season-high 38 yards receiving, including a long of 21 yards against the Yellow Jackets • Scored touchdowns against Syracuse and NC State • Caught his first career touchdown pass on a 10-yard slant against Syracuse in overtime • Jumped over an NC State cornerback for a 1-yard TD grab late in the first half against the Wolfpack.

2002 - Freshman Season
One of seven true freshmen to see action • Was primarily used as the Tar Heels' fourth receiver • Was an excellent deep threat • Caught 15 passes for 232 yards • Led UNC's wide receivers with an average of 15.5 yards per catch • Had three receptions over 30 yards, including a season-high 42-yard catch in the win at Syracuse • Caught at least one pass in 10 of 12 games •Had a season-high three receptions for 42 yards against Georgia Tech • Had two catches for 36 yards, including a 31-yard grab at Florida State • Caught a 38-yard pass vs. Texas • Also had two rushes for 16 yards.
