Started the last seven games, six at right tackle and one at center • Made his first career start against South Florida • Versatile lineman who was a center last season and can also play guard • Played in the Georgia Tech and NC State games in 2005 before injuring his shoulder and receiving a medical redshirt • Was competing for the starting position before the injury.

2004 - Freshman Season
Played in eight games as a reserve offensive tackle.

A three-year starter at Strake Jesuit, an independent high school in Texas • Served as team captain as a senior • Came from a run-oriented program at Jesuit, which was 10-0 during his sophomore season • Helped lead the Jesuit freshman team to a 10-0 record • His father, Jim, was an offensive tackle at North Texas State under Haden Fry • Coached by Ron Counter • Had a 3.6 GPA.
