Through seven games, Carolina's average halftime lead is 47-28.
This year's walk-ons--Patrick Moody, J.B. Tanner, Jack Wooten and Marc Campbell--have 36 combined points in seven games. Last year's walk-ons--this year's group plus Surry Wood--scored 47 combined points in 39 games.
Carolina scored 63 points in the second half against UNC-Asheville. Eight times already this season, other ACC schools have scored fewer than 63 points in an entire game.
This year's Tar Heels have notched an assist on 59.8% of their field goals; last year's team recorded an assist on 52.5% of their field goals.
Carolina's most recent four-game average of 107.8 points per game is the second-highest four-game average in program history, falling short of the 114.3 points per game mark set by the 1985-86 team against The Citadel, Manhattan, Brown and Florida State.
