Williams to Speak at Salvation Army Fundraiser
July 22, 2004 Raleigh, N.C. -- The Salvation Army Community Center of Raleigh will host their 2004 benefit dinner on Tuesday, September 21, featuring UNC's own Roy Williams as the keynote speaker. This special benefit dinner will be held at the North Raleigh Hilton and will begin at 6 p.m. at a pre-party reception with Coach Williams. A dinner emceed by Woody Durham will follow at 7 p.m. Proceeds will support the many youth programs offered at the community center, including year-round athletics, an after-school program, and summer day camp. Attendees will enjoy entertainment by children from the Community Center, plus athletic awards and special guest speaker Coach Williams. Make a difference in the lives of over 900 children who participate in a youth program at The Salvation Army. Individual tickets are $150 and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
