The Reece Holbrook Golf Classic: Part I

The Reece Holbrook Classic gets underway at UNCFinley early Wednesday morning.

The tournament was held to benefit Reece Holbrook and the oncology department at UNC Hospitals.

Former Tar Heel player and coach Matt Doherty was an early, enthusiastic arrival.

Every possible foursome in the tournament was taken. Reece was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Sept 7, 2004.

The tournament was a Captain's Choice with a 9:30 tee time.
