  • Carolina's entire roster has 159 combined minutes of NCAA Tournament experience in their college careers. Combined, the entire roster has made 10 field goals in NCAA Tournament play.

  • With a 12.4 point per game increase over last season, Reyshawn Terry currently has the highest one-season increase in points per game in Carolina history (Donald Williams was the previous leader with a 12.1 ppg increase between his freshman and sophomore seasons).

  • The loss to Boston College was only the fifth time this year that Bobby Frasor and Quentin Thomas have combined for more turnovers than assists. The others were Southern Cal, Virginia Tech, Clemson, and Wake Forest.

  • David Noel has attempted just four free throws in his last three games.

  • Tyler Hansbrough's double-double against Boston College was only the fourth double-double in ACC Tournament play by a Tar Heel freshman in the past 12 tournaments (two others came in the same game: Rashad McCants scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Maryland in 2003 while Raymond Felton scored 20 points and had 10 assists; Ed Cota had a double-double in the quarterfinals of the 1997 event).
