Tuesday Talking Points

Feb. 27, 2007

By Adam Lucas

  • Carolina hasn't won at Georgia Tech since Jan. 2, 2001. The over six-year road drought is the longest for the Tar Heels in the ACC era against a conference foe.

  • Carolina hasn't lost three straight games to end the regular season in over 40 years.

  • Carolina hasn't lost consecutive ACC road games in over three years (Feb. 10 and 24, 2004).

  • Reyshawn Terry hasn't made a 3-pointer since the Boston College game. Since moving into the rotation as a junior, he has gone three straight games without a trifecta only once.

  • Tyler Hansbrough has gone seven straight games without a double-digit rebounding performance. That's the second-longest such streak of his Carolina career, trailing only an eight-game streak early in his freshman season.
