Carolina in the midst of fall workouts.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - With roughly 30 scouts from Major League Baseball clubs in attendance for North Carolina's annual Fall Scout Day, head coach Mike Fox and several players took time out of the busy schedule to speak to the media Wednesday at Cary's USA Baseball National Training Complex.

    • The Tar Heels opened fall practice Sept. 22 and will wrap things up with the annual Fall World Series Nov. 3-5 in Cary.

    Carolina returns three All-Americas for the first time in school history and has reached the College World Series in each of the last three seasons.
