 Coach Fox (30) is interviewed on the field. Carolina improves to 54-13.

 Coach Forbes (21) is greeted by Cheryl Fox. Oregon St. is now 48-16 on the season.
Chad Flack was 4-4 with three runs scored.

 Matt Danford (17) gave up no runs on one hit in 1.2 innings of relief.

 Equipment manager Nate Yarbrough is glad to have his son Jack in town this weekend. Jonathan Hovis (8-2) (15) picked up the win for the Heels.

 Andrew Carignan (8) struck out both batters he faced while picking up his 15th save of the season.

 Chad Flack (34) and the Tar Heels will have their hands full with a resilient Oregon St. squad at 7:00 p.m. ET on Sunday (ESPN2).
