CWS In Weather Delay

June 19, 2008

OMAHA, Neb. - Due to lightning and heavy rains in the Omaha area, the College World Series elimination contest between North Carolina and LSU was delayed at 6:27 p.m. CT.

The Tar Heels have already put a pair of runs on the board in the top of the first thanks to a Tim Fedroff RBI double and a bases loaded walk to Chad Flack. Garrett Gore was at the plate with the bases loaded when the game was halted.
