Made 26 appearances as one of the Tar Heels' top right-handers out of the bullpen • Posted a 2-0 record and one save • Logged a 4.12 ERA and fanned 27 in 24 innings • Walked just 13 and held the opposition to a .231 average • Made eight appearances in ACC action and struck out 10 in 7 2/3 innings • Made five appearances in the NCAA Tournament, highlighted by a pair of strikeouts against No. 14 East Carolina June 6 • Fanned two in two innings to earn lone save against Maryland April 26 • Allowed just one hit and fanned four in a career-long four innings versus Winthrop April 15 to pick up second career victory • Earned a second straight victory after picking up a key out in the 10th inning against No. 7 Miami April 18 • Picked up two outs in a scoreless appearance at No. 3 Georgia Tech April 4 • Struck out two in 1 2/3 shutout frames versus Davidson March 31 • Fanned two in a scoreless inning against No. 8 Virginia March 28 • Worked 1 2/3 scoreless frames and fanned two against Duke March 22 • Struck out four over two scoreless innings in the VMI series to open the season • Also worked shutout innings against Liberty, Seton Hall and Princeton.
