UNC's Henry Places Fourth at Canadian National Cross Country Championships

North Carolina sophomore Carol Henry earned fourth place at the Canadian National Cross Country Championships in Toronto, Ontario on Nov. 29. Henry ran a time of 21:07 in the 6k race at Sunnybrook Park in Toronto. Henry was coming off a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Waterloo, Iowa on Nov. 24.

Henry, a native of Parry Sound, Ont., ran for the Toronto Olympic Club at the meet. She will compete for UNC this winter and spring as part of the indoor and outdoor track team. The first meet is Jan. 10, as the Tar Heels host the Carolina Big 12 Meet in Chapel Hill, N.C. at 10 a.m.
