Junior Shalane Flanagan Wins National Championship

Chapel Hill, N.C. -Junior Shalane Flanagan (Marblehead, Mass.) won her first national title this afternoon at the NCAA Championship, in Terre Haute, Ind. Flanagan is the first ACC and UNC cross country runner to win a national championship since the NCAA began endorsing the sport.
