Tar Heel Women Earn At-Large Bid To NCAAs

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The North Carolina women's cross country team will be making a return trip to Terre Haute, Ind. on Nov. 19 for the NCAA Cross Country National Championships after earning an at-large bid on Sunday, Nov. 11. The Tar Heels finished in third at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, Nov. 10 as Brie Felnagle captured the individual title and was joined on the all-region team by Megan Kaltenbach and Addie Bracy. The women will race at 12:55 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19 and can be seen on CSTV.

"I am absolutely ecstatic, they have worked extremely hard all year long to get to this point," head coach Michael Whittlesey said. "I'm very, very proud of this team."
