Henry Named ACC Performer of the Week
 
Junior led eighth-ranked Tar Heels to third-place finish at Pre-Nationals.

Junior Carol Henry was named the ACC Performer of the Week for her efforts at this weekend's NCAA Pre-National Meet, the league office announced Monday. Henry's time of 20:23.6 in the 6K Blue Race led the Tar Heels to a third-place overall finish, and was good for second in the individual standings.

Henry is the second Tar Heel to garner ACC Performer of the Week accolades in 2004. Sophomore Meghan Owen won the distinction for winning the Wake Forest Invitational on September 11.
