Head Coach Dennis Craddock Hosts Alumni Breakfast
Sept. 18, 2007
Chapel Hill, N.C. - Track and Field head coach Dennis Craddock held an alumni breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 15 in the Track and Field Hall of Honor at the Eddie Smith Fieldhouse. Over 40 lettermen, family and friends were able to attend the event. In addition to the breakfast, coach Craddock had a chance to introduce three new members of his staff to everyone in attendance. The three new faces of the Carolina track and field program are Laura Gerraughty (Assistant Throws Coach), Anthony Parker (Assistant Jumps Coach) and Nadine Faustin-Parker (Director of Operations/Administration).
The event allowed former athtletes to visit campus and see the new indoor track and field facilities as the Eddie Smith Fieldhouse has seen tremendous changes over the years. The attendees received caps, t-shirts, water bottles, and newsletters updating them on the current activities of the 2007-08 team. The UNC coaching staff is looking forward to next year's event and hope to see more alumni in Chapel Hill.
