Owen Named ACC Performer of the Week
 
Sophomore led Tar Heels to win over Wake Forest Saturday.

UNC's Meghan Owen, the individual champion at this weekend's Wake Forest Invitational, was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Performer of the Week for September 6-12 the ACC office announced Monday.

Owen's time of 17:30 led the Tar Heels to the women's team title over host Wake Forest.

Carolina is back in action this weekend as it hosts the Carolina Challenge at 10 a.m.
