GREENSBORO, N.C. - A day after the men's "A" team finished 15th at the Notre Dame Invitational, the men's "B" team took home second at the Hagan Stone Classic in Greensboro, N.C. Connor Blair crossed the line first for the Tar Heels who totaled 64 team points, 40 more than meet winner Elon.

Blair crossed the line in a time of 27:08.9 to lead the Tar Heels just two seconds ahead of senior Jeremy Hyder who finished with a time of 27:10.0. Finishing third for the Tar Heels was Sam Pompei who finished in 27:17.4 giving the Tar Heels a formidable trio at the top. Andrew Rotz clocked in at 27:31.2 to finish fourth among the Tar Heels as Nick Krouse closed out the scoring in a time of 27:48.3. Adam Smith also was in competition Saturday morning as he finished in a time of 28:32.2 for the Tar Heels.

On the women's side Becky Johnson competed as an individual and finished 12th overall in a time of 19:39.4 in the 5K event, while the men competed in the 8K.
