DALLAS, TEXAS - The University of North Carolina's women's swimming and diving team will compete Friday and Saturday this weekend at the Dallas Classic hosted by Southern Methodist University. Action begins both nights at 7 p.m. CDT.

Each team is allowed to bring eight swimmers and one diver to the meet. The swimmers competing for the Tar Heels include senior Aubrette Biegel, freshman Layne Brodie, junior Alison Clemens, sophomore Katura Harvey, junior Ashley Howard, sophomore Rebecca Kane, freshman Laura Moriarty and junior Megan Steeves. Freshman Jenna Moore will represent the Tar Heel women's diving contingent.

The tournament field includes #12 SMU, #15 UNC, #20 Arizona State, #16 Southern California, #25 Alabama and #23 Wisconsin

Selected Tar Heel swimmers will also compete Sunday in the NCAC Mile Meet at Koury Natatorium at 3 p.m.
