CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--TarHeelBlue.com podcasts are becoming more popular every day. Tuesday, our website had a chance to sit down with Joe Kinderwater, a sophomore swimmer at the University of North Carolina from Lancaster, Pa. Kinderwater came to Chapel Hill last year and had a knockout freshman campaign.

Among his accomplishments was a school record in the 1000-yard freestyle, an ACC championship in the 1650-yard freestyle, a fifth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle at the NCAA Championships, a first-team All-America certificate, a spot on the U.S. Open Water National Team for two straight years and a placing in the finals of the 1500-meter freestyle at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in a personal best time.
