Walsh Sets Six World Records at U.S. Master's Swimming Championships

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS - University of North Carolina swimming legend Sue Walsh, an 11-time national collegiate champion while a swimmer at Carolina from 1981-84, won six events and set six world records in the 45-49 age group at the 2007 United States Master's Swimming National Championships at The Woodlands, Texas August 10-13. Walsh not only won every event she entered, she also set world records for her age group in all six events.

Walsh currently serves as Director of Endowment and Stewardship of the UNC Educational Foundation. She resides in Durham, N.C.

Walsh represented North Carolina Master's Swimming in the championships.
