GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lizzy Bruce, Meagan Eickman, Erika Matheis and Gia Santoto of the University of North Carolina women's swimming and diving squad joined 15 All-Atlantic Coast Conference performers highlighting the inaugural All-ACC Academic Women's Swimming and Diving Team, as announced Wednesday by Commissioner John D. Swofford. Each of the league's 11 schools that sponsor swimming and diving is represented on the team.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

The All-ACC Academic Women's Swimming and Diving Team consists of eight student-athletes that earned either All-America or All-America Honorable Mention honors.
