Carolina Taps 2007-08 Swimming Captains
 
Three men, including two repeaters, and four women, highlighted by two-year captain Lindsey Marck, will lead women.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina swimming and diving teams have tapped their captains for the 2007-08 school year with three of the seven captains repeating their duties from the 2006-07 campaign. All seven captains will be representatives from the Class of 2008.

The women will be headed by returning captain Lindsey Marck, a senior butterflier from Newtown, Pa. Joining her are diver Laura Filip of Durham, N.C., freestyler Kelsey Morrissy of Horsham, Pa., and backstroker Taylor McFarlane of Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

UNC's men's team returns two captains from 2007 -- backstroker Keith Laabs of Memphis, Tenn. and freestyler Robby Swendiman of Keninston, Md. The third captain will be senior freestyler Philip Owen of Scottsdale, Ariz.
