CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Thirty-four of the 63 members of the University of North Carolina's men's and women's swimming and diving teams posted 3.0 grade point averages or above during the spring 2003 semester, head coach Frank Comfort revealed Sunday. They were Steve Mohr, Hal Wansley, Ashley Benner and Jessi Perruquet, the 2003 NCAA co-champion in the 200-yard freestyle. Both teams had outstanding team GPA totals for the semester. The men had a team GPA of 2.913 and the women 3.143. The cumulative GPAs of the current members of the program average to 2.968 for the men and 3.027 for the women.

Dean's List recipients for the spring semester include Jon Albrecht, Chad Ames, Mike Chenier, Sinisa Haberle, John Hartmann, Yuri Suguiyama, Jon Van Assen and P.J.
