Tar Heels Name 2003-04 Swimming And Diving Captains

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Four student-athletes at the University of North Carolina were elected on Tuesday as their team's co-captains for the 2003-04 school year. Chosen to lead the Tar Heel women's swimming and diving team are Jessi Perruquet and Jessie Brosch while Yuri Suguiyama and Dan Vick will captain the Tar Heel men's squad.

Perruquet, the 2003 NCAA co-champion in the 200-yard freestyle, will co-captain the Tar Heel women for the second straight year. She is joined by Brosch, a rising junior and talented Tar Heel butterfly specialist/

On the men's side Vick, a freestyle sprinter who hails from Durham, will be joined by Suguiyama. Suguiyama, from Ijamsville, Md., was the ACC champion in the 200-yard freestyle in 2003 and an All-America in both the 500- and 1650-yard freestyles.
