CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams at the University of North Carolina were honored Tuesday by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America with Academic All-America team honors for the fall semester 2004.

Fifty-eight NCAA Division I men's swimming and diving teams were named to the list with Coach Frank Comfort's men's squad checking in with a 2.93 cumulative grade point average for the semester.

Sixty-six women's teams made the grade for the CSCAA Academic All-American Teams with UNC's squad posting a 2.94 team GPA for the semester.

UNC teams have consistently been honored on these teams over the past two decades.
