GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina senior Eric Mohr of Mequon, Wis. was named Monday as the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for Monday, February 7, 2004.

A senior tri-captain, Eric Mohr won a pair of individual events and was the only individual multiple event winner in the meet as the Tar Heel men's swimming and diving team finished its regular season with a 154-87 victory over NC State in Raleigh. Mohr won both of his events in season best times, going 1:50.20 to win the 200-yard backstroke and then clocking 1:52.77 to capture the 200-yard individual medley.

The win over the Wolfpack helped UNC cap a 10-2 season, recording its best overall record since 1998-99 when the Tar Heels were also 10-2. Carolina finished 5-1 in the ACC, it best league mark since the 1997-98 campaign when UNC went 5-0.
