ATHENS, GA. - North Carolina junior swimmer finished 34th Friday morning in the 100-yard breaststroke at the 79th annual NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Georgia's Gabrielson Natatorium.

Quinn posted a time of 55.67 seconds in the event.

Quinn and sophomore Yuri Suguiyama will both compete in their best events on Saturday. Quinn will swim in the 200-yard breaststroke where he is the fourth seed while Suguiyama will compete in the 1650-yard freestyle. Both swimmers earned their NCAA bids this year based on their performances in their Saturday events.
