Glasco Grabs All-America Honors In 200 Butterfly

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - Junior Josh Glasco placed 14th Saturday night in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2005 NCAA Men's Division I Swimming & Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center. Glasco earned honorable mention All-America honors with his finish, the second straight year he has been so honored in the event.

Glasco finished with a time of 1:46.65. The Richmond, Va., native had been the 13th-ranking qualifier in the preliminaries Saturday morning as he clocked a 1:45.57.

Glasco's swim earned the Tar Heels three team points in the standings, allowing North Carolina to finish in a tie for 32nd place with both Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.
