ATHENS, GA. - North Carolina's women's swimming team completed its second day of action Friday morning in the 25th annual NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Georgia's Gabrielson Natatorium.

UNC sophomore Lindsey Marck was the only Tar Heel in action Friday and she placed in a tie for39th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.03 seconds.

UNC will have its most entries of the three-day meet on Saturday when freshmen Nicole O'Donnell and Whitney Sprague compete in the 1650-yard freestyle and sophomore Lindsey Marck competes in the 200-yard butterfly.

UNC was in 31st place at the end of the first day with two team points.
