Career Best Times: 4:27.63 in 500-yard freestyle; 9:12.80 in 1000-yard freestyle (9th in school history); 15:33.01 in 1650-yard freestyle; 1:48.09 in 200-yard butterfly (10th in school history); 1:49.90 in 200-yard individual medley; 3:53.38 in 400-yard individual medley (7th in school history).

Prep: Graduated from The Bolles School on May 28, 2005...a five-time All-America selection there...swam the 1500-meter freestyle in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens for his home country of Malaysia...co-captained Bolles squad his senior year...named 2003 Florida state short course and long course swimmer of the year for the 15-16 age group...was part of three straight team state championship units as Bolles extended its string of state tiles to 17 in a row...as a senior, he was the state champion in the 200-yard individual medley and as a member of 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams while taking second in the 500-yard free...in his junior year, he captured the 500-yard freestyle and competed on 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay state championships...that same year he finished as a runner-up in the 200-yard individual medley...was part of two state championship relays as a sophomore ...finished third in the 1500-yard freestyle and was part of the winning 800-meter freestyle relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam...also competed in the 2003 Barcelona World Championships...a member of both the National Honor Society and French National Honor Society.
