2007-08 (Junior): Set career bests at the ACC Championships in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard breaststroke...his time of 55.23 in the 100-yard breaststroke moved him from seventh place to fifth place in school history and claimed sixth place at the Championships...his time of 2:00.38 in the 200-yard breaststroke catapulted him into eighth place in school history and merited him a 10th-place finish...qualified for the 2007-08 ACC Academic Honor Roll...made the Dean's List in the spring semester 2008.
2006-07 (Sophomore): Had a very successful ACC Championships meet, placing fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a career best 55.43...that time gave him the No. 7 spot on the Tar Heel All-Time Top 10 list...also achieved a career best time in the preliminaries of the 200 IM and finished 14th in the finals...swam the fastest 100 breast time for the team in 2006-07...his 100 breaststroke time from ACC Championships was good enough for the sixth-best time in the ACC for the 2006-07 season.
2005-06 (Freshman): Set career bests in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley at the ACC Championships with a 55.58 and 1:52.66, respectively...was atop the Carolina depth chart in the 100-yard breaststroke for the 2005-06 season...placed ninth in the 100 breast at the ACCs in 55.58...was 12th in the 200 breast at the conference meet.
Prep: Graduated from Somers High School on June 24, 2005...a junior national champion in the 200-yard breaststroke...metro record holder for both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes...a senior national qualifier in both breaststroke events...team captain of his club team both his junior and senior years.
