The Tar Heels will compete in the Temple Open

Philadelphia, PA - The UNC men's and women's fencing teams will travel to Philadelphia where they will compete in the 28th Temple Fencing Collegiate Open.
Saturday features the women's competition while Sunday the men will take the floor. The event, held in Temple's McGonigle Hall, is open to the public. This is an individual tournament open to all full-time undergraduate students. Competition begins each day at 9:00 a.m.
Teams fencing in the men's competition include--
UNC, Bryn Mawr, Clemson, Cornell, Drew, Duke, FDU, Florida, Haverford, Hunter, Hopkins, Lehigh, Maryland, Millersville, NYU, Penn State Club, Penn State and Pittsburgh.
Teams fencing in Women's competition include--
Queens, Rutgers, South Florida, St. Johns, Stevens, Stonybrook, Swarthmore, Temple, Temple University Fencing Club, UNC, South Carolina, Penn, Navy, Virgina, Virginia Tech, and Yeshiva.
On Saturday, November 11th, Tar Heels will make a return visit to Philadelphia where they compete in the Haverford Dual Meets.
