On Saturday the UNC fencing team will participate in the Philadelphia Invitational Fencing Tournament.

The all-day invitational will be hosted by the Haverford College Rangers. Competition begins at 8 a.m. and features some of the top men's and women's fencing programs in the country.

Squads that will be competing at the invitational, in addition to the Tar Heels, include host Haverford College, Cornell, Duke, Drew, Fairleigh Dickinson, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Rutgers, Sacred Heart, Temple, Penn and Vassar.

The UNC women's team is scheduled to fence Vassar, Cornell, Sacred Heart and Drew, while the UNC men's team is scheduled to fence Vassar, Cornell, Sacred Heart and Haverford College.
