Philadelphia, Pa. - UNC Men's Fencing Team Sweep at Penn

The University of North Carolina men's fencing team went undefeated on Sunday at the Philadelphia Invitational Multi-Meet which was hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Hutchinson Gym. The UNC women's team finish the day with a respectable 3-2 recorded.

The Tar Heel victory over the Quakers marks the first time in school history that the UNC men's team has defeated Penn. For the season the UNC men's team is 12-8 while the women are 14-9.

The Tar Heels will next see action at the Penn State Duals in State College, PA. on Saturday, January 28.
