Timothy Allen Blaisdell was born on December 10, 1987 in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is the son of John and Martha Blaisdell. Tim has 1 brother and 1 sister. Tim is pursuing a dual major in Psychology and Geography. Tim graduated from Reservoir High School in Fulton, Maryland. He was a stellar high school athlete, participating in Varsity Cross country, Indoor/Outdoor Track, Lacrosse and Soccer. He was the captain of both his cross country and indoor track teams. He was an MVP for field events in indoor and outdoor track. Tim was also a very strong student, acting as a member of the National Honor Society. Tim walked on to the fencing team this fall. His roommate, fellow fencer Jamie Lawrence, encouraged him to try out. Tim's competitive mindset and experience as an elite athlete during high school should help him to develop quickly as a fencer. He is a fierce competitor with a strong desire to win. Tim has many interests at Carolina. He was a member of UNC's Club Ultimate Frisbee team. He also enjoys backpacking and rock climbing.
