Abby competed in all 10 tournaments for Carolina last year and had the best score on the team at the ACC Championships. Off the course, Abby is a communications major and a member of Carolina Outreach and Student Leadership Athletic Council.

The University of North Carolina and Wachovia would like to congratulate Abby Spector, the Wachovia Woman of the Week.

Abby is a sophomore golfer from Waterville, Maine. She competed in all 10 tournaments for Carolina last year and had the best score on the team at the ACC Championships. Her coach, Sally Austin, said that Abby "is extremely competitive and has a desire to do well." Off the course, Abby is a communications major and a member of Carolina Outreach and Student Leadership Athletic Council.
