Moira has competed in many tournaments in her career and her coach, Sally Austin, said that "Moira has a lot of potential and I expect her to get better and help us in the future."

The University of North Carolina and Wachovia would like to congratulate Moira Murphy, the Wachovia Woman of the Week.

Moira is a freshman golfer from Dallas, Texas. She has competed in many tournaments in her career and her coach, Sally Austin, said that "Moira has a lot of potential and I expect her to get better and help us in the future." Moira contributes her services off the course as well, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She is also a member of the Hilites Service Club.
