Rachel is a Biology major with a minor in Spanish, she is actively involved in the community as she volunteers as a Spanish language interpreter at UNC Hospitals, and is an active ACT Mentor.

The University of North Carolina and Wachovia would like to congratulate Rachel Daniels, the Wachovia Woman of the Week.

Rachel is a senior rower from Asheville, North Carolina, occupying the port position on the team. A Biology major with a minor in Spanish, Rachel is actively involved in the community as she volunteers as a Spanish language interpreter at UNC Hospitals, and is an active ACT Mentor. She also has spearheaded the team participation in the Shadetree Project, a program devoted to the education of people about skin cancer.
