Retired Faculty and Staff points are frozen at the time of retirement.
  • Educational Foundation donors who have attained certain giving levels may also have the opportunity to purchase season tickets. For more information, please see: www.educationalfoundation.com.

    Student Tickets

  • The Carolina Athletic Association (CAA), a student organization charged with coordinating the student ticket distribution process for men's basketball, is currently reviewing the distribution process for the 2001-2002 season. When this process is complete, more information will be available here.
  • For more detailed information about the CAA and the ticket distribution process, please see www.unc.edu/caa.
  • Please see the section on post-season for information on student tickets to the ACC and NCAA Tournaments.
  • The Ceiling Fan program is a group of 500 students who sit in the same seats in the last rows of the upper level for the entire year. In exchange for being guaranteed a ticket to every game, each participant in the program forgoes his/her right to participate in the regular student distribution described above. Students may come to the ticket office during a designated three-day period to sign up for this program. More information is also available at www.unc.edu/caa.

    Post-Season

  • ACC tournament tickets are not available to the general public.
  • A limited number of ACC Tournament tickets are available to students at UNC. Due to the high demand for ACC tournament tickets, the CAA coordinates a lottery system to determine student eligibility. At the completion of the lottery drawing, those students chosen will have the opportunity to purchase tournament vouchers the Monday following the lottery drawing. Students selected as alternates in the student drawing may purchase tournament vouchers the Tuesday following the lottery drawing. Any remaining student tickets may be purchased by any UNC student the Wednesday following the lottery drawing on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Educational Foundation donors at a certain giving level have the opportunity to purchase ACC tournament tickets. Eligible donors will be notified when these tickets are available.
  • UNC is allotted a very limited number of NCAA tournament tickets. Based on availability, these tickets are only available to students and Educational Foundation donors at a certain giving level. Again, eligible donors will be notified when these tickets are available.
