If you have not already done so:
Register with University Career Services at http://careers.unc.edu.
Register with AlumniAthlete Network through TarHeelBlue.com.
Make sure you have an up-to-date resume and have it critiqued by Dana Gelin, Cricket Lane or a UCS career counselor.
Also:
Formulate a basic cover letter.
Make sure your updated resume is posted on AlumniAthlete Network and use the site to search for jobs and internships.
Attend UCS career fairs and networking nights.
Schedule a mock interview at UCS.
Schedule on-campus interviews.
Finalize references, keeping in mind that you may want to use different contacts for different applications.
Take advantage of programming offered through Career Development.
If applying to graduate schools, research possible scholarships. (Check with Mary Brunk in Academics.)
